Why do i not want any kids?

I have lists and lists of reasons as to why I don't want any kids any time soon. My main reasons for mot having a kid first and foremost I'm not mentally ready. The reason I feel this way is because I'm only 21 I'm still learning and growing myself. Also I'm not financial stable. Having kids isn't all about buying clothes and shoes. Children are life long expenses that I couldn't dare to afford at this moment in my life. It hurts not to be able to provide for yourself nevertheless a baby, I would feel so horrible. I give everyone young woman thats single raising a baby the upmost respect.  It takes a strong woman to carry a baby for 9 months by yourself and take care of the child the rest of your life alone. Accidents happens but to protect yourself its either practice abstence or birth control ladies!!!!

Should kids be allowed to work at the age of 14?

Working at a young age has so many positive things but can also drag along negative things. As a young teeanager I began to work at 14 which I had just gotten out of junior high. I was prepariong for a major change in my life(high school). So working help me become independent and gain so many responsiblities. I was able to buy things that all young children would die for.It helped me learn that you have to work hard for what you want. On the other hand all throughout high school I was working and wanting to work more. I began caring less about school and more about working.

Should the legal drinking age increase in the United States?

I feel as if the legal age to drink shouldn't be increased. There are numerous of reasons on why i feel as if the age limit shouldn't be increased. First and foremost the drinking age is already three years more than the legal adult age group and the legal age to purchase tobacco products. These two have the same effect on individuals in different ways. The legal age to be considered an adult in the United states is 18 which means you're held responsible by anything. So if this is so then why can't every adult be responsible for their actions period.

Henry Kissinger

This is a blog that i can talk on and on about. I have been looking at Henry Kissinger for months now in my world politics class. I have heard the good and bad about this "character". One thing that i have discovered about him is that whether he befriends you or make you a target , he has his own intentions on exactly what he wants. During the cold war he was consider a murdered who secretly killed many and was planning to bomb neutral countries. Now a days Henry Kissinger is involved in the force to stop nuclear weapons all over the world. His mission to stop this is pretty flat out fake to me because I feel as if Henry Kissinger is a very sneaky man and AMERICANS HAVE TO WATCH AND PAY ATTENTION TO HIS ACTIONS!!!

Obama on 2008 Campaign

This cartoon really caught my eye for numerous of different reasons. The most important thing that caught my eye was the fact that America was convinced that there would be changed,IMMEDIATE CHANGE THAT IS. Myself as being from the african american community to have a black president was remarkable. Lots of people are now debating on exactly what is Obama changing and is it for the good or bad. I know lots of people outside the black community and also some that are in the community in which they feel as if Obama made a promise he couldn't keep. I personally think that a man that was put in a situation that was already destroyed for the last eight years, he did a damn good job. Being in college i see the importance of education and Obama ansd his campaign truely honors education. So for everyone who's saying he's not changing anything I would say,"HE'S ONLY ONE MAN, NOT AN ARMY,IT TAKES TIME!".

Should tobacco companies be held responsible for smoking-related illnesses and deaths?

I think that tobacco companies are responsible but at the ssame time they're not.The reason I feel as if they are responsible because we all as "Americans" suppose to stick together for each other well-being. Tobacco companies know the effect on their products so  knowing that they should have some consideration. As we all know in America "MONEY TALKS,BULLS*** WALKS". Being an adult in America we have been getting educated about the prognosis of tobacco for years so with that being said we make OUR OWN DECISIONS AT OUR OWN RISK

 

American Gender Roles

Since I could possible remember in the American society men have always been considered dominant. Men have been labeled as strong,mascular,money-maker,aggressive,dominant and the list goes on . While women have been simply a home-maker,caregiver,mommy and wife. Now a days women have the freedom to accomplish as much and beyond males. Women are now shifting out to society and becoming more educated and involved in top decisions that was usually left up for the men say so.

Survival guide for Breadwinner Wives

This article focuses on the women in a realtionship making most of the income in a household. It views different women point o fview on being the dominant income of a household. I feel as if when you're in a relationship it's a two way street. If the women in making more than the man thats perfectly fine. Respect plays a big part in the situation. I would still respect and love my husband even if I made more than him because it's 50/50(you help me,I help you). It becomes a problem when the spouse wants take more than he is giving.Not changing your intentions of a relationship due to the income is something to always keep in mind, because you never know when you might have to wear the other shoe!!

Should juvenile offenders be tried and punished as adults?

I feel as if you commit the crime then you do the time. It's pretty simple and no tolerance if you asked me. If a juvenile commits a crime and get punished at the full extent of the law then it will decrease the likelyhood of reoccurence. Lots of the juveniles who commit crimes are fully aware of the choices that have made to end up in such a perdicament. In some cases petty crimes should be handle as an adult I would say depending on the juvenile past record. If the juvenile has a lengthy criminal history prior to the crime it means that they obvsiously haven't learned anything yet so handling the juvenile as an adult will most likely open their eyes to reality. When  I say reality not just getting yelled at by their parents,or taking a ride in the police car home but to the adult jail where they would first hand experience what there is to come out of negative behavior.
